Payment
As we are enrollment based, we still charge for any missed days, this includes missed days for illnesses. If your child will miss days, we appreciate being informed ahead of time so we know which children we can expect to attend.
Payment for all monthly fees is due at the beginning of the following month, one week after the invoice is sent.
For late pick-up of children, an additional fee of $5 for every 5 minutes late will take effect.
Fees include 2 daily snacks.

Payment methods include cash, cheque, and electronic funds transfer.
Cash or cheques can be dropped off at Kootenay Employment Services between 8:00am-4:00pm and delivered to our Finance Coordinator. A receipt will be provided for cash.

Refund
Refunds are only given when childcare has been permanently terminated, without notice, by Blossom and Bud Childcare, as long as there are no outstanding fees pending.
Affordable Child Care Benefit
Any amount not covered by the Affordable Child Care Benefit is the responsibility of the parents/guardians and is payable on the first of each month in advance. Proof of the Affordable Child Care Benefit must be given to the provider prior to registration.
Orientation
To ensure a good fit between your family’s needs and the Blossom & Bud centre, it is important to have an introduction.
We require that a parent/guardian and their child(ren) visit our centre prior to enrollment. This process allows your child(ren) to become more familiar with our daycare and staff. The on-site visit includes a tour of the facility, meeting the Early Childhood Educator workers, and reviewing the parent handbook.
There is a 3-week trial period in which either party may end the agreement for any reason.
